An Independence that’s all my own

ImageWhat to write about on the 4th of July but independence? It’s a tough word if you think about it. And it can mean different thing to different people. Copyblogger posted a short article today on what independence means for a business owner stating that it does not matter whether you are a tycoon or a mom-and-pop store you are a business owner and so be it.

I’m so happy I’m a blogger ’cause I have to digest an enormous amount of information on the daily basis and just like every person we meet is a teacher so is every article I stumble upon teaches me something as well.

I’ve read all the Facebook posts today on what a birthday of America means to my friends and came to think of what “the independence” means specifically to me. So I think my independence lies in my ability to create stuff that I can call my own. Like this blog. Thank you for being a part of it. And Happy 4th!

And maybe St. Petersburg (and no, it’s not the one down in Florida). Not everyone knows though that beside Russia there is quite a few other countries on the map that used to be part of an old Soviet Union. Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Latvia are some of them.  There is more than 70 million Internet users in this part of the world and the number is consistently growing. Just like in US along with online community grows an ecommerce. It’s just evolves with its own specific tendencies and directions. So what’s different? Read the rest of this entry »
